In less than 60 days our Biocatalyst completely transformed the waste water pond!
Microbial Treatment of Refinery Wastewater Pond
June, 1996
A Biocatalyst Dispersal Unit is being lowered into an open top 100 bbl. tank. Once operational, the microbial solution will flow at 8 GPH rate into the tank where additions of hydrocarbon consuming bacteria and blended nutrients are added before the blended fluid enters the oil/water separator. It then flows into wastewater evaporation pond.
June 1, 1996
A small amount of emulsified oil and benzene enter the aerated wastewater evaporation pond.
July 8, 1996
The oil residue is consumed by the microbes in a matter of hours.
August 14, 1996
The area around the pond tested extremely low readings of benzene.
Microbial Treatment of Hog Waste Lagoon
July, 1996
A small 15”x6’ Biocatalyst Dispersal Unit was set next to a water vent pipe at a hog barn in Southwest Kansas. The microbial solution was added continuously with the incoming waste effluent at a 4 gallons per hour rate. Effluent from four different barns was going into this lagoon.
This sludge basin lagoon had a 10” to 14” crust build up around the outer edge with an estimated 4” crust in the center.
After 53 days of microbial solution being added, the crust had been reduced to almost nothing. Previous odors were eliminated.
